TRIO OF UNITS LET IN MARLBOROUGH

Kilpatrick & Co and indeed Marlborough’s Hughenden Yard, which Kilpatrick & Co manage have both had a busy but rewarding few months. After months of preparation and patience Kilpatrick & Co has let 3 retail units one of them, Unit 7, 500 sq ft has been let to Hayley Lambert’s Packaging Not Included which has opened to great applause and welcomed warmly by shoppers in Marlborough and across Wiltshire. Packaging Not Included has already proved that consumers want an alternative to purchasing foods and goods without all the packaging and waste which is so damaging to the environment. Unit 13, 677 sq ft which lies behind W.H.Smith and nestled between Goldsworthy’s and UK Physiotherapy has been let to a new NHS dentist which is expected to open in May. Marlborough Dental Care part of the South Cliff Dental Group will be providing general dental services, operating Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm with a late appointments service provided on Tuesdays until 8PM. Finally, Unit 4/5 1,134 sq ft which lies in the centre of Hughenden Yard with a ground floor sales area and first floor showroom has been let to Woolley & Wallis estate agents who are due to begin fitting out the unit shortly. The leading regional estate agent offers expertise in sales, letting, farm and rural and commercial land and properties. Daniel Pitt of Kilpatrick & Co commented, ‘Despite the current economic and political uncertainties new, and established businesses have seen the opportunities and potential that Hughenden Yard has to offer. The landlords have shown great foresight and a continued desire and commitment to welcome new and unique businesses like Packaging Not Included who are offering something different, special and much needed. We are all under no illusions that the high street is struggling but the decisions taken by us and the landlords should ensure that Hughenden Yard will continue to thrive and provide retail and services for the local community and beyond.’ For further information on this news release, please contact Ann Storey on (01793) 643101.
